During the summer of 2020, a moment that turned events on their collective head, not only at a national level, the Municipality of Ravello and the Börner family gathered a selected audience of true lovers of both wine and bel canto in the magnificent setting of the Giardini del Vescovo in Ravello
The program of the event featured a guided wine tasting, in the shape of a “multisensory contrappunto” between the wine making universe of Ômina Romana and the listening of Opera music by Giuseppe Verdi – Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Jacques Offenbach – Gaetano Donizetti – Georges Bizet and Pietro Mascagni.
The event, based on an exclusive format designed by Anton Börner, featured an original performance, alternating some musical interludes aimed at enhancing the peculiar sensory features of the wines in an innovative way.
The members of the audience, sitting at their tasting table, were taken along an aesthetic path by means of gradual tasting of wine and of the enjoyment of musical “moments”, offered to the audience as a Recital, accompanied by Sopranos Clarissa Costanzo and Chiara Polese, by Tenors Francesco Marsiglia and Walter Omaggio, by Baritone Biagio Pizzuti and accompanied at the piano by Maestro Gianni Gambardella.
The audience that took part in the event, featuring important representatives of the diplomatic, institutional and economic world showed great enthusiasm and appreciation for the evening.
